Every once in a while, I take a break from photographing and documenting every step of a recipe and simply make whatever I’m in the mood of (sans photos), whether it’s a twist on a classic dish, a variation of a popular recipe, or a compilation of a few things I think would taste good together. It’s usually a lot easier for me to follow directions and be able to expect a certain outcome, yet sometimes there’s a thrill in doing something a little uncharted- or unwritten, and only capturing the end result.
